1325088 Clamps ETABS DERVAUX 27 May 1971 [29 May 1970] 17690/71 Heading E2B A spacer combined with a resilient clamping device comprises a spacing bar 20 connected to bearings on a pair of clamping jaws 21, 22 having recesses accommodating semi circular elastic pads the ends of which abut flats 24c on a pair of sheath members 2, 4, the jaws being urged together by one bolt 25, each end of the pair of members having an external projection which engages a complementary end portion 22d of a sealing of each jaw respectively to limit the compression of the elastic pads. In order that the resilient pads in the form of ring halves 23 are retained in position between the jaws and members, the middle portion of the recesses in the jaw is deepened and the middle portion of the members is thickened. The spacing bar 20 is secured by a screw 26 to the bearing portion 21a of the jaw 21. |
