PURPOSE: Adhesive-tape attaching method and apparatus are provided to enhance working efficiency by having a tab on the end of the adhesive tape. CONSTITUTION: Adhesive-tape attaching method is as follows. The leading end of the adhesive tape(T) is folded back to form a front tab. The adhesive tape having the tab is attached to a given part of a target. The adhesive tape is cut on an upper part than the rear end of the given part. The rear end of the adhesive tape after cutting is folded back to from a rear tab. When the adhesive tape is attached, a tab is formed on at least one of the leading and rear ends.
