PURPOSE: An in-wheel motor equipped with the heat pipe is provided to cool the in-wheel motor by installing the heat pipe on a stator. CONSTITUTION: A stator(170) of the inner side and a rotor(180) of outside are opposed against each other. A coil(171) is wound around the stator. A permanent magnet(181) is installed on the rotor. The stator is fixed to a knuckle(30) through a stator bracket(80). The rotor is fixed to a wheel(140) by a rotor bracket(130). The rotor, the stator, the wheel, and a wheel(141) revolve altogether. An inner ring(50) of a wheel bearing is secured to the wheel. A wheel bearing outer-wheel(70) is fixed to the knuckle. A flange is expanded outward on the wheel bearing outer-wheel. A combining hole combining with a bolt(90) is formed on the flange.
