The ring has a retaining chamber (12) and a sealant (13), where the retaining chamber has an inlet (14) and an outlet (15). The inlet is connected to a storage container that is connected with a condenser such that an organic working medium, in the liquid condition, is guided from the condenser into the storage container and from the storage container into the retaining chamber, where the storage container is arranged higher than a turbine (11). The retaining chamber is arranged between two sealants (13b, 13c) i.e. coal sealing rings. An independent claim is also included for a method for operating an organic rankine cycle system.
