<p>Substd. amidino-S-triazines - with fungicidal activity. Title cpds. of formula (I): (where at least one of A1-A3 is a residue -NH-CR1=N-CR2R4-CR3R5-X (II) or circle positive -NH-CR1=N-CR2R4-CR3R5 X circle negative (III) and other residues A1-A3 are 1-18C alkyl, 1-20C mono- or disubst. amino or alkoxy, aryloxy or Cl; X is Cl; R1 is opt. subst. 1-18C alkyl, 6-13C cycloaliphaticyl or 8-14C aralkyl; R2-R5 are 1-20C alkyl, 7-20C aralkyl or phenyl, or R2 and R3 as well as R4 and R5 can be linked to form a 6-14C ring, or not more than 3 of R2-R5 can be H, or one of R2-R5 is 1-20C alkyoxy, pyrrolidonyl, imidazolyl or 2-methylimidazolyl), which are fungicides particularly active against Phycomycetes, are prepd. by reacting a corr. compound contng. a dihaloamino group instead of the residue (II) or (III) at -70 to +120 degrees C with nitriles and 3-20C olefinically unsatd. cpds. and subsequently treating the reaction soln. with reducing agents (e.g. the olefinic cpd. used in the first stage). The residue (III) results from dehydrochlorination of the residue (II).</p> |
