<p>Yarn tuft is made by sticking the end of a yarn through a fabric gripping the end, making a loop sticking the yarn through the fabric at a distance from the first stitch, cutting the yarn tuft from the yarn supply and releasing te yarn at the first stitch. A tufted fabric may be produced with a high pattern variation potential at an output rate comparable with that of conventional tufting machines. Successive shafts whether single or series variety may be from yarns of different characteristics.</p> |
