PURPOSE: An electrophoresis display and a driving method thereof are provided to minimize the error of a touch operation by performing a touch operation when frames over a certain level is continued. CONSTITUTION: In an electrophoresis display and a driving method thereof, an electrophoresis display panel(100) respectively includes a thin film transistor and an electrophoresis layer. The electrophoresis display panel comprises a plurality of pixels. An optical sensor senses the touch of a user through the intensity of radiation of external light. A driving unit(110) drives the electrophoresis display panel. A touch control unit(160) partitions the electrophoresis display panel into a plurality of blocks.
