PURPOSE: A tip for ball point pen is provided to increase the discharge amount of ink according to the increase of forward and backward flow interval. CONSTITUTION: A ball(101) is formed in a sphere shape. The front end side of a tip body(110) is formed in a circular cone shape. A ball house(112) is formed at the end portion of an ink outflow path(111). A part of the ball is exposed to the ball house. A ball support portion is formed by the shutting of a front end part(114) so that the ball is supported in the state where the ball is exposed. The outer circumference of the front end part for the formation of the ball support portion of the tip body sets a taper angle in a range of 3~10°.
