PURPOSE: An ingot measuring device and an ingot measuring method using the same are provided to improve productivity by managing the measurement data of the ingot in real time to early detect a defective product. CONSTITUTION: A transfer carriage(100) horizontally receives an ingot(10) and transfers the ingot. The transfer carriage includes a transfer carriage body(110) of a square block shape, a wheel(120), and a receiver(130). An ingot measuring carriage(200) automatically measures the diameter and weight of the ingot. The ingot measuring carriage includes a frame unit(210), an ingot driving unit(220), and a weight measuring unit(240) which measures the weight of the ingot. An integrated control unit is formed in one side of the ingot measuring carriage and controls the driving of the ingot measuring carriage.
