A reciprocating pump has inlet and outlet valves and a discharge chamber connected to the pump chamber by a bleed passage. The pump shown in Fig. 1 is of the bucket diaphragm type and includes an inlet chamber 11, inlet valve 28, bucket 15, outlet valve 33 and discharge chamber 13. A bleed 34 connects the chamber 13 to the pump chamber 10. Another embodiment is described having a normal piston and inlet and outlet flap valves. |
