<p>Cyclophosphates of the formula WHEREIN R1 is a pyrimidine or purine group; R2 is H or OH, including those wherein the OH group is functionally modified; and R3 is H or hydrocarbon containing one to 10 carbon atoms, including those bearing a substituent thereon; both in free base form and in the form of a physiologically acceptable salt thereof, have physiological activity which includes regulation of cardiac metabolism and circulation, carbohydrate and lipid metabolism, corticosteroid production and progesterone synthesis.</p> |
