PURPOSE: A system and method for providing a video map are provided to enable a user to conveniently recognize a video of a desirable theme by developing classified video images on a screen in map format after classifying the video images according to each theme. CONSTITUTION: A reception unit(210) receives video images uploaded for at least one object, and a storage unit(220) stores the video images. Based on the indexes corresponding to the video images, a map formation unit(230) forms a video map which indicates the correlation between other video images and each theme. A user interface unit(240) provides the video map as a user interface for searching a video image.
