PURPOSE: A disk drive device and an electronic device are provided to eliminate load of a rack about a slide plate which is moved in a first direction if a lock plate is moved to a lock release position. CONSTITUTION: A guide unit is formed to rack gear(22). A guided unit is guided by the guide unit when a main body is moved to front and back direction about the rack gear. Therefore, the rack gear is prevent to be fallen from the main body. After locking is released about the main body of the rack gear, the main body is moved to a back direction about the rack gear. And the rack gear is smoothly locked to the main body by a slide plate(35).
