Machine comprises (a) an endless conveyor on which are mounted at regular intervals a series of book-type, two-part, re-usuable mould boxes hinged along one edge, so arranged that when the boxes are closed they are ready to accept the material to be cast and when open the interior is accessible; (b) cams mounted near the conveyor which can open and close the mould boxes at pre-determined points along the conveyor; (c) a distributor which can fill the moulds at a position in the conveyor where the boxes are closed, (d) an ejector for removing the cast articles from the mould at a point where the boxes are open.
