The method involves obtaining an elastomer blank, and arranging a calendared sheet (16) made of elastomer to cover the elastomer blank. An assembly is molded by compression to reticulate the elastomer blank and the calendered sheet together, and a material removal operation is carried out to reveal the elastomer blank. The blank is formed with an elastomer element (10), and an opening (12') is formed in the element, where two sides of the element defines an upper face and a lower face. Another elastomer element i.e. multicolored part (14) is arranged in another opening (12).
