The instrument (1) has a tensioning device (7) provided for bending a sound body (2) under traction or pressure, where the sound body is made of wood. The tensioning device is aligned in a longitudinal direction of strings (5, 6). The tensioning device is arranged between a nail stick (3) and a pin stick (4). The tensioning device comprises a traction element i.e. steel rope, where length of the tensioning device is adjustable via tensioning screws (13, 14) or adjusting screws. The sound body exhibits sections, which are provided transverse to a bending direction.
