PURPOSE: An apparatus for displaying data is provided to change the output frequency and time according to the length and difficulty of data extracted from a database in order to utilize data for leaning efficiently. CONSTITUTION: A search condition input unit(104) receives a search condition from a user, and a data extractor(106) extracts at least one record from a database according to the search condition. An output time calculation unit(108) calculates the output time of the extracted record according to the data length in a predetermined field of the extracted record. A data output unit(110) outputs the extracted record in voice or image for a certain output time.
