The device has locking bars (14, 24) arranged at a furniture body for locking a furniture part e.g. drawer. The locking bars are in operational connection with corresponding locking elements (15, 25) i.e. linearly movable bolts, that are arranged at the furniture body. The locking elements are movable between two positions in which the locking bars are released and locked, respectively. The locking elements are movable by displacement of the locking bars from a released position into a locked position. An independent claim is also included for a furniture arrangement comprising furniture. |
