PURPOSE: A heat element of a gas heater with improved corrosion resistance, and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to extend the lifespan and repairing cycle of the heat element since the corrosion of a coated layer due to combustion gas is prevented. CONSTITUTION: A coating method of a heat element of a gas heater is as follows. A coating hole is formed by the boring of a square steel plate by a drill, and thus a heat plate is manufactured. A top-shaped or square grinding wheel is mounted on a grinder or a drill, and thus the edge of the heat plate and the blade surface of the coating hole are processed as a circumferential cross section by the grinding wheel. The heat plate is washed and dried. An inorganic material is deposited on the edge of the heat plate and around the circumferential surface of the coating hole. A ceramic-coated part is sintered. An enamel material is sprayed to the surface of the heat plate at a high temperature. The enamel is sintered.
