PURPOSE: An image call system and a method thereof transmitting feelings of an opponent are provided to transmits feelings state of an opponent to a user by controlling a state or a motion of an avatar according to a grasped feeling state. CONSTITUTION: A control unit(30) transmits an avatar corresponding to an opponent to a sending terminal or a receiving terminal through a communication network. The control unit receives an image call data from an opponent terminal of a terminal which received the avatar through the communication network. The control unit determines feeling state through voice recognition and a specific gesture which the opponent poses in the received image call data. The control unit generates an avatar execution code corresponding to the determined feeling state. The control unit transmits the generated avatar execution code to a terminal which received the avatar.
