The unit has a pressurization chamber (3) connected to a compressor (2) e.g. inbye compressor, and pressurizing the abrasive e.g. vegetal abrasive, to be sprayed, where the unit is integrated to a motorized road vehicle (8) e.g. lorry, such that only a treating head (5) is extracted from the vehicle. The treating head sprays the abrasive against a surface to be treated of a hull of a boat, and recuperates the abrasive that collides with the surface to be treated. The head is connected to the chamber by a supply pipe (6) and to an abrasive recuperation unit (4) by a recuperation pipe (7).
