The process involves heating carbon dioxide released from an outlet side of an engine (1) with hydrocarbon (8) in a heat exchanger, and directly connecting a catalytic engine to an exit of engine exhaust pipes. The catalytic engine is indirectly heated by combustion gases before connecting to a muffler.
