PURPOSE: An LED apparatus is provided to easily execute maintenance and replacement of an LED by easily detecting the location of a defect LED in an LED panel. CONSTITUTION: An LED apparatus comprises an LED panel(110) and a controller(200). An LED panel is formed by arranging a plurality of LEDs with a grid format. A target object among a plurality of LEDs is selected by a low address and a column address. The controller is connected through the row address line and the column address line to the LED panel. The controller successively turns on a plurality of LEDs according to a fixed time table. The controller decides the defect of an LED based on one voltage among the row address line and the column address line.
