<p>The plasma cutting torch comprises a torch body (2), a torch head (1) removably attached to the body, and a fixation unit (3) for joining the torch head with the torch body. The torch head comprises fluid or electrical connections in upstream end (1a) of the head or downstream end of the body and projecting towards outside of the head, where three fluid connections are disposed to form an equilateral triangle. A fourth electrical connection is formed at the center of the equilateral triangle. The fixation unit comprises a movable threaded ring. The plasma cutting torch comprises a torch body (2), a torch head (1) removably attached to the body, and a fixation unit (3) for joining the torch head with the torch body. The torch head comprises fluid or electrical connections in upstream end (1a) of the head or downstream end of the body and projecting towards outside of the head, where three fluid connections are disposed to form an equilateral triangle. The fluid or electrical connections are inserted in housings placed at downstream ends of the torch body. The torch head further comprises an axial core making unit, and an angular core making unit. The torch body comprises a first housing and a second housing respectively cooperating with the axial core making unit and angular core making unit. The axial core making unit is formed of a cylindrical wall axially projecting according to main axis (4) of the torch. Independent claims are included for: (1) a torch head; and (2) a process for plasma arc cutting a metal piece including carbon steel, stainless steel and aluminum and its alloy.</p> |
