The device has a receiving unit for receiving a person in sitting position. An application unit is equipped on ground in a longitudinal axis of a sliding unit for applying frictional force on the ground. The sliding unit is equipped with a right ski (1) and a left ski (2), where the two skis are arranged on sides of the receiving unit. The application unit is equipped with a lever that is equipped with a control portion to receive hands of the person. An application portion of the lever is in contact with the ground. A cover partly covers leading edges of the skis.
