<p>PURPOSE: A device and a method for supplying power to an LED are provided to minimize a power loss and the generation of heat by automatically controlling the voltage of the power supplied to an LED according to the variation of an LED voltage. CONSTITUTION: An LED module(50) includes at least one LED device. An LED driving module(30) applies a voltage to the LED module by receiving power outputted from an SMPS(Switching Mode Power Supply)(10). A control unit(20) controls the output voltage of the SMPS to minimize a power loss by detecting the minimum operation voltage of the LED driving module.</p> |
