The device (6) has a holographic image generating unit for generating a first holographic image and a second holographic image (8) visible by an observer located at the exterior of a vehicle (5), where the generating unit is independent of signaling lights of the vehicle. The images are diffused in two differently oriented diffusion angles. The generating unit is fixed at the rear of the vehicle at a level lower than a height of eyes of the observer seated in another vehicle (9).
