The method involves axially positioning a metallic tubular blank (1) in a well, where the blank has an upper cylindrical portion (10) whose external diameter is slightly lower than internal diameter of a casing (A). The cylindrical upper portion or a lower cylindrical portion (13) is radially expanded beyond its elastic limit so as to be initially and hardly applied in a sealed manner against an internal surface of a wall opposite to the casing or a liner pipe (B) such that middle portions (11, 12) of the tubular blank cover a suspension (D). Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a device for repairing a suspension of a liner pipe (2) a blank used to repairing a suspension of a liner pipe.
