<p>A route switching device and a data cashing method thereof are provided by the present invention, wherein, the method includes that: when the route switching device receives a data packet, if the data cashing state of an external cache is searched to be that there are data slice row addresses not fully filled and the continuous space in the data slice row addresses not fully filled is enough to store all data slices of the data packet, all data slices of the data packet are written into the data slice row addresses not fully filled. The packet information of the data packet and the data slice row addresses written into are saved, and the data cashing state of the external cache is updated. The present invention can be applied directly in hardware devices, and facilitates the migration among hardware devices, and data packet cashing management is considered directly in a hardware structure design, thus improving the usage rate of the storage bandwidth. Furthermore, the present invention can be applied easily in other related data cashing management.</p> |
