The lamp has a socket (2) partially made of metal, and metallic socket parts extending into a head light through a reflector during mounting in the head light. The metallic socket parts are designed in a light absorbing manner. The socket parts are blackened, matted and chromated in the lamp. A glow filament (3) is provided for producing dim light. Another glow filament (4) is provided for producing high beam light. The glow filaments are arranged within a lamp receptacle (1). Ends (31, 32, 41, 42) of the glow filaments are wound by foils (61-64) that are made from molybdenum.
