<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing device of a protector wherein a protector being attached to a wire can be manufactured without going through complicated procedures, and a cheap and simple molding die can be used. <P>SOLUTION: The manufacturing device 3 of a protector 2, which protects a wire 1 by covering the circumference thereof, includes a molding die 5 of the protector 2, consisting of a transparent infrared permeable material and is provided with a cavity 4 in which the constituent material of the protector 2, i.e., a synthetic resin material 2' which melts and foams when heated, and the wire 1 are encapsulated; and an infrared irradiation apparatus 6 which heats the synthetic resin material 2' encapsulated in the cavity 4, by having the synthetic resin material 2' irradiated with infrared rays from the outside of the molding die 5. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
