<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of measuring a hematocrit (Hct) value excelling in measurement accuracy and reliability, and a sensor used therefor, in regard to a method of electrochemically measuring the Hct value of blood by using a sensor. <P>SOLUTION: As to this method of electrochemically measuring the hematocrit (Hct) value of blood, an electrode system is prepared including a working electrode (11) and a counter electrode (12). Any oxidation-reduction substance is not disposed on the working electrode (11) between the two electrodes, but an oxidation-reduction substance is disposed on the counter electrode (12). Blood is introduced into the electrode system to impress a voltage on the electrode system in this state. An electric current thereby flowing through the electrodes (11) and (12) is detected to measure the Hct value from the value of the electric current. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
