<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas sensor unit, a fixture for the gas sensor and a gas sensor mounting structure, which can shorten the projected length of the gas sensor to outside of an air intake system of an internal combustion engine and for which the mounting of the gas sensor is easy and sure regardless of the material and the like of the air intake system. <P>SOLUTION: The gas sensor unit 300 includes the gas sensor 1 extending to the axial direction O and having a detection part 11 at the tip side, and the fixture 200 loaded with the gas sensor and mounted on the air intake system 400 of the internal combustion engine. The fixture 200 includes as one unit an air intake system mounting surface 202 surrounding the radial direction of the gas sensor 1 and a sensor loading part 204 mounted with the gas sensor 1 slant in the axis direction O against the air intake system mounting surface and positioned inside the air intake system mounting surface. The fixture 200 mounted with the gas sensor 1, covers an opening 400h disposed on the wall surface of the air intake system and is mounted to the air intake system so that the detection part faces the inside 400i of the air intake system. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
