PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ear pad which can maintaine communication between the inside and the outside of an ear canal regardless of the deformation of an elastically deformable part caused by insertion into the ear canal, does not intercept an environmental sound, provides high sound clarity, can reproduce an articulate low-pitched sound and a clear middle and high-pitched sound, gives a favorable feeling of mounting, and improves sound quality. SOLUTION: The ear pad is formed of an elastically deformable material and has a tip inserted to an ear canal and includes: a cylindrical body where a sound guide hole for generating a sound by an earphone incident on the ear canal is formed; and an elastically deformable part which is connected to the tip of the body and obliquely spread from the tip toward a rear end. The elastically-deformable part has a plurality of slit-like openings which are radially extended when viewed from the side of the tip of the body, and the body has grooves which are formed in positions corresponding to respective openings on the outer peripheral surface of the body and extended in an axial direction, and the openings and the grooves corresponding to them overlap when the elastically deformable part is deformed and pressed to the outer peripheral surface of the body.
