PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controller of a game machine which is capable of suppressing a fraudulent act using a "hanging board" or the like. SOLUTION: On a game board 2 of a Pachinko game machine 1, a first kind start port 3 and a big winning port 4 are provided. At the center part of the game board 2, a display device 8 is assembled. The display device 8 includes a liquid crystal display 8a and a plurality of symbol columns are displayed there. The symbol variation of the respective symbol columns is started on the basis of the entry of a game ball 5 to the first kind start port 3. Further, one is selected from a big winning symbol, a losing ready-to-win state symbol and a losing symbol, and it is set as a stop symbol.
