PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display controller capable of displaying items other than items displayed normally when operations are switched or upon powering-off. SOLUTION: A device operating in a first operating mode and a power-off mode includes a display control means for displaying information set to be displayed on a display device corresponding to a first operating mode among a plurality of kinds of information in the first operating mode. The display control means selects part of information that is not set to be displayed in the first operating mode in response to switching from the first operating mode to the power-off mode of the device, and after the selected information is displayed on the display device, the device shifts to the power-off mode.
