Disclosed is a tactile sensation reproduction system that can reproduce and present the sensation of tracing over a target object with the pad of a finger, in a natural manner and without limiting the possible target objects. The disclosed tactile sensation reproduction system is provided with: a removal unit that removes, from a first probe waveform, a probe-caused vibration waveform which consists of waveform components shared between the first probe waveform and a second probe waveform, said first probe waveform being a frictional vibration waveform caused by contact between a probe and the target object, and said second probe waveform being a frictional vibration waveform caused by contact between the probe and another object which is different from the target object; a superimposition unit that superimposes, on the first probe waveform from which the probe-caused vibration waveform has been removed, a finger-pad-caused vibration waveform which consists of waveform components shared between a first finger-pad waveform and a second finger-pad waveform, said first finger-pad waveform being a frictional vibration waveform caused by contact between the finger pad of a human finger and the target object, and said second finger-pad waveform being a frictional vibration waveform caused by contact between the finger pad and the other object; and a reproduction unit that presents a vibrational stimulus on the basis of the first probe waveform on which the finger-pad-caused vibration waveform has been superimposed.
