The invention relates to an ET. The ET includes: a core; a primary winding; and a secondary winding, wherein the primary winding and the secondary winding are wound around the core, arranged face-to-face, and spaced apart from each other by a certain distance along the core. The ET further includes an insulating element that is arranged on the secondary winding side of the core and between the core and the secondary winding, such that the core and the secondary winding are mutually separated. The ET according to the invention not only improves the short circuit characteristic, but also is simpler in structure and more compact in dimension while the insulation of the ET is guaranteed.
