<p>The present invention relates to: a metal-material-charging device for vacuum melting, where a metal material is melted in a vacuum environment, whereby the metal material can be charged into a vacuum melting chamber in a stable fashion while keeping the degree of vacuum constant; and a method for the same. The metal-material-charging device for vacuum melting of the present invention comprises: a vacuum-melting chamber having an air-discharge tube on the upper side; a first material-introduction tube of which one end is connected to one side of the vacuum-melting chamber; a second material-introduction tube of which one end is connected to the other end of the first material-introduction tube, and which has an air-discharge tube on one side; a vacuum valve interposed between the first and second material-introduction tubes; a support plate which is integrally provided on the other end of the second material-introduction tube, and which has a material-introduction hole communicating with an internal passageway of the second material-introduction tube; a moving plate which is provided in such a way as to be able to travel forwards and backwards on the support plate in such a way as to make hermetic contact; and a charging plunger which is provided on the moving plate and is provided so as to travel forwards and backwards inside the first and second material-introduction tubes.</p> |
