<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a magnified image with a resolved feeling while uniformly supplying high frequency components regardless of the direction of the edge of images. <P>SOLUTION: For a second horizontal direction intermediate image (D32Bh), nonlinear processing is performed to a magnified image of an image (D1h) for which the high frequency components in the horizontal direction of an input image (Din) are extracted. For a second vertical direction intermediate image (D32Bv), the nonlinear processing is performed to a magnified image of an image (D1v) for which the high frequency components in the vertical direction of the input image (Din) are extracted. To an image (D2A) for which the input image (Din) is magnified, an image (D33B) for which the second horizontal direction intermediate image (D32Bh) and the second vertical direction intermediate image (D32Bv) are weighted and added is added. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
