PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly suppress noise even when brightness of an object changes. SOLUTION: This imaging apparatus is provided with an image pickup device such as CMOS and an AE/AF control part. When the brightness of the object is reduced (b), the AE/AF control part increases gain of an amplifier which amplifies an image signal in the next frame (c).
