PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an enameled wire baking method and baking device favorable in heating efficiency and low in energy loss. SOLUTION: The baking device includes a baking chamber, an insulating vanish tank, a coating die, a cooling chamber and a pulley. The baking chamber 10 includes a microwave generator 110, a waveguide 100 and a short plunger 120. The microwave generator 110 is connected with one end side of the waveguide 100 and the short plunger 120 is disposed on its other end side. Two through-holes acting as insertion passages of a conductor 2, an inlet port 101 and an exhaust port 102 are formed in upper and lower surfaces of the waveguide 100. A dielectric insertion tube 103 is disposed within the waveguide 100 so as to extend from the inlet port 101 to the exhaust port 102. The short plunger 120 is disposed at a position apart from an axial center of the inlet port 101 (the insertion tube 103) by a distance L of (2n-1)λ/4 (n: a natural number,λ: a microwave wavelength) on the other end side of the waveguide 100.
