PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dentifrice composition that contains a low concentration of a fluorine compound, is capable of ensuring sufficient antiseptic power of the preparation and improving retention of the fluorine compound in the mouth and is excellent in feeling in use and shelf stability. SOLUTION: The dentifrice composition includes: 0.08-0.14 mass% (A) sodium fluoride; 0.1-1 mass% (B) fatty acid amidopropyl betaine; 0.4-1.5 mass% (C) titanium oxide; (D) sugar alcohol and/or glycerin; and (E) silicic anhydride, provided that the mass ratio of component (C) to component (A) is 5.0-15.
