PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decrease resistance on a friction part that has smaller deviation of a belt member caused by a tilt of a steering member, thereby smoothly moving the belt member. SOLUTION: A belt conveying device includes a moving means where a width of a belt member is wider than that of a driven roller in a direction of an axis line of rotation of the driven roller and that rotates and moves a friction member in an opposite direction of a moving direction of the belt member when a load occurs to the friction member provided on both ends of the driven roller.
