The invention relates to chemical technology of inorganic materials, particularly to the preparation of mineral fibers from production wastes, which can be used in chemical, textile, petrochemical, building industry, machine industry and other branches. The composition for the production of mineral fiber, due to the invention, as basic primary components it comprises wastes of metallurgical production with the oxide content: manganese – about 30 %, silicon and aluminium – totally about 40 %, alkali and alkaline-earth metals – totally about 13 %, and wastes of chemical production with the oxide content: barium – about 34 mass %, silicon and aluminium – totally about 21 mass % and both types of wastes contain to 1-5 mass % of iron oxides in such component ratio, mass %:As wastes of metallurgical production ferro-manganese slag are particularly used, and as wastes of chemical production wastes of varnish-and-paint works are particularly used. The composition additionally may contain corrective ingredients to 30 mass %. The technical result: the mineral fiber based on the proposed composition has high physicochemical and technological properties, durable to the action of atmosphere, physicochemical, temperature and mechanical factors. |
