PURPOSE: A device and a method for carrying a yarn guide unit of a yarn winder are provided to satisfy the various demands of a consumer since it is possible to wind a large amount of yarns and to easily change to a variety of shapes. CONSTITUTION: A device for carrying a yarn guide unit of a yarn winder comprises a moving frame(20) and a fixed frame(10). The moving frame is connected to the guide unit. The moving frame guides a second moving block(26), which makes vertical movement. The moving frame is coupled to the fixed frame. The fixed frame guides a first moving block(16), which makes vertical movement. The fixed frame comprises a first motor(12), a first screw(14) and the first moving block. The first motor supplies bidirectional rotation. The first screw is axis-coupled to the first motor to rotate. The first moving block is coupled to the first screw and reciprocates.
