<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a suspended ceiling structure having high earthquake-resistance and enabling a suspended ceiling to be easily installed even in a place where a large number of obstacles are located, and also provide a method of constructing the suspended ceiling structure. <P>SOLUTION: This suspended ceiling structure having a plate-like ceiling member 5 suspended from the ceiling surface 2 of a structural skeleton 1 includes equipment 3 suspended from the ceiling surface 2 independently of the ceiling member 5 and a vibration damper 10 which joins the equipment 3 and the ceiling member 5 and attenuates the relative vibration of the equipment 3 and the ceiling member 5. Since the equipment 3 is suspended independently of the ceiling member 5 in the suspended ceiling structure, an increase in the weight of the ceiling member 5 side can be avoided as compared with a case in which the equipment 3 is fixed onto the ceiling member 5. Consequently, in this suspended ceiling structure, a suspended ceiling with high earthquake-resistance can be easily installed even in a place where a large number of obstacles are located while having high earthquake-resistance by reducing the quantity of braces 9 attached to the ceiling member 5. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
