PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus having good operability. SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus includes: a first operation member which switches between a still-image mode and a moving-image mode; a second operation member disposed in the vicinity of the center of turning of the first operation member; and a control means which, when the still-image mode is set by the first operation member, sets optical finder mode and causes the second operation member to change the mode from the optical finder mode to electronic finder mode, and when the moving image mode is set by the first operation member, sets the electronic finder mode and causes the second operation member to start video imaging.
