<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain a rapid simulation in a network using Closest Exit Routing. <P>SOLUTION: When the input of route information to be advertised in an AS to be simulated is received, a simulation device obtains the route information for each address to be set in each router. When there are a plurality of kinds of route information with the same address, the best path (the route information of the best path) to be set in the each router is selected through the use of the Local Preference of the route information, an AS_PATH length, an ORIGIN, and a MED. When one best path is not determined in the whole routers in the AS, the total value of IGP costs to the router of NEXT_HOP to be indicated in the route information with the same address is calculated, thereby defining the route information with the minimum total value as the best path. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
