<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processor capable of searching a predetermined mark quickly. <P>SOLUTION: An AV stream, as an entity of contents, is managed by ClipInformation. The reproduction of the AV stream is managed by PlayList. The attribute information of the AV stream, which is the address information RSPN_arrival_time_discontinuity of the discontinuous point in the AV stream, the information EP_map and TU_map correlating the time information in the AV stream and the address information, and the time information ClipMark of a characteristic picture in the AV stream, are recorded in the ClipInformation.
